One and a half dozen assorted Christmas cookies and candies. Decorative and tasty, this platter would make an awesome centerpiece for Christmas dinner, but I doubt they'll make it that far.
I can't believe more people don't know about this tradition, but it's a good one! Normally, you bring one or two dozen cookies of one variety to a cookie party. Everyone shares the wealth of their creations, you grab a plate and take as many cookies as you brought, but from the different varieties other people brought! The more people, the more variety!
Now, I'm only one woman, so I have about 6 varieties of cookies for each cookie platter, but that variety is enough to satisfy almost every taste bud!
